How it came together

Across Kenya's 47 counties, billions of shillings flow into development projects every year — roads, schools, dispensaries, water schemes, markets. Yet the leaders accountable for those projects often rely on stale reports, fragmented WhatsApp updates and PDFs that arrive weeks after the fact.

Kakamega CMS was designed from the ground up to solve this. It pairs a simple field-data workflow for officers and contractors with rich dashboards for leadership and a public transparency window for citizens. The result: nothing important gets lost, and nothing important gets buried.
